Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the Interiors Responsibility Center South Carolina team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

This position will incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

This is a great opportunity to join a strong team of Supply Chain Analysts by joining the IRCSC Supply Chain Team to support the 787 Interior Responsibility Center South Carolina (IRCSC).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.

  • Analyzes complex material requirements.

  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.

  • Works emergent demand to support airplane delivery

  • Determines part number attributes.

  • Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.

  • Ensures on-time delivery.

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.

  • Reports schedule adherence issues.

  • Develops and controls inventory plans.

  • Optimizes inventory levels.

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.

  • Initiates audits.

  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services.

  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.

  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.

  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and manufacturing planning

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing or managing supply chain analytics or strategies

  • 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain or Inventory/Ordering Management

  • Effectively communicate and influence positive results

  • Experience with Innovation projects, product commercialization, stage gate methodology and business execution projects

  • Project management experience with Procurement, Production, Supply Planning and Scheduling

  • Experience documenting/designing business processes, performing business analysis, and requirements definition

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously

  • Resourceful self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred

  • Bachelor degree or higher

Typical Education / Experience:

Experienced (level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior level (level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range for experienced level: $76,500 - 103,500

Summary pay range for senior level: $91,800 - 124,200
