The Boeing Company is looking for an Industrial Security Specialist (Senior or Lead) FSO to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK.In this position, you will be a Facilities Security Officer (FSO).

  • Executes Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Identifies deficiencies, develops and implements corrective action. Communicates results to security management and customers.
  • Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
  • Communicates results to security management and customers.
  • Conducts Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (including inventory, distribution and destruction), in compliance with government regulations/requirements.
  • Protects government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures.
  • Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on large and/or complex programs.
  • Leads and performs Personnel Security team and/or processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses for complex customer requirements.
  • Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information.
  • Performs Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements.
  • Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.
  • Communicates results to security management and customers.
  • Participates, as requested, on enterprise Integrated Product Team (IPT).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with government security regulations (e.g., National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual [NISPOM], International Traffic in Arms Regulations [ITAR], Export Administration Regulations [EAR])
  • 5+ years of experience working with multiple functional organizations from multiple sites
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and 32 CFR part 117 (NISPOM)
  • Experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field

Typical Education/Experience: 

Level 4 (Senior): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 5 (Lead): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

Summary pay range:

Level 4 (Senior) $90,100 to 121,900

Level 5 (Lead) $114,750 to 155,250
