Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. From the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared values. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

At Boeing, we design, build, test, deliver and support the airplanes that connect people around the world safely, comfortably and efficiently. We’re looking for a Senior Communications and Branding Specialist to tell the story of the most produced and commercial jet in aviation history, the Boeing 737. Join our team in Renton, WA; where every 737 has been built since the first 737-100 rolled out of the factory and took to the sky in 1967.

This unique opportunity positions you as an expert on Boeing’s largest airplane program portfolio. In this role, you will manage the communication activity for the 737 MAX family of airplanes, including the in-development variants. Through hands-on, direct engagement with program leadership and subject matter experts, you will help define and execute the strategic communications plan to deliver a compelling story that represents the people who design, build, deliver and support the 737 MAX family of products and their commitment to safety, quality and compliance. You will also play a critical role in ensuring the 737 program messaging is consistent and presented accurately across internal and external contents, including support for the Marketing/Branding communication team.

This is the type of highly influential and collaborative role that can take your career to a new level. If you’re looking to expand your skill set, work strategically and offer creative solutions, we would like to hear from you.

  • Partners with the brand and marketing team to create, develop, review and update materials in line with program messaging

  • Applies knowledge of fundamental communications principles and excellent writing capabilities to create and execute compelling communications products for all audiences (e.g., feature articles, social media content, executive remarks, videos and press releases)

  • Demonstrates foresight and sound judgment, anticipating issues and deconstructing desired outcomes to prioritize and resource the right focus areas
