The Boeing Company is looking for an Operations AnalystGraduate to join our team located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This programme commences July 2024 and will be a 6 months, full time, fixed term contract. As an Operations Analyst you will execute analysis tasks at the Decision Support Center (DSC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The DSC is a decision support capability, with the purpose of enhancing the environment for winning new business and keeping sold existing programs through delivery of operations analysis services to Boeing Saudi Arabia. This exciting role will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive insights, solve complex problems, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Position Responsibilities

This is an Operations Research and Data Analysis role. Your duties will include:

  • Execution of analysis projects, both military and civil in nature utilizing modeling, simulation, and analysis tools of the center.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and further develop operational analysis studies with the required level of technical skills.

  • Research, collecting relevant data, and development for implementation of various scenarios tailored to address several purposes, including operational concepts, cost and capability comparisons, mission effectiveness, and other relevant areas.

  • Collect, clean, pre-process, and analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights to inform decision-making processes.

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Create data visualizations such as charts and graphs to effectively summarize and communicate findings to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and meetings.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to modeling, simulation, and analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable recommendations.

  • Collaborate with other Operations Analysis team members to continuously improve analysis methodologies, tools, and processes.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related field that relevant to the data analysis domain.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to think analytically.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • The ability to analyze, problem solve and develop objective, efficient and innovative solutions to customer requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills (Arabic and English)

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Programming and scripting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in, or knowledge of quantitative analysis, Modelling and Simulation, and War gaming tools.

  • Experience in, or an understanding of military operations in one or more particular domains such as air, sea or land.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries is a plus.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate complex findings.

Key Relationships:

  • You will report to the DSC Senior Manager, supported by the wider Boeing team.

  • You will work under the supervision of the Operations Analysis Lead. Responsible for execution of all analysis and experimentation activities in country.

  • You will work closely with the relevant employees at the DSC to maintain this successful partnership.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Saudi Arabia law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all Saudi Arabia labor and immigration formalities.
