Boeing Poland is currently looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to join their team in Rzeszow, Poland.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis of aircraft structures (airframe: wing and fuselage). Structural analysis includes calculation of loads, static and fatigue analyses.

  • Evaluate structural integrity of aircraft components by way of classical hand calculations.

  • Generate documentation (stress check notes) to report analysis results to support certification and qualification processes.

  • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Develop repairs for airframe elements.

  • Work with regulatory framework (FAA) for warranting safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.

  • Technical accuracy and focus on excellence.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, free-body diagrams, load path, structural loads, joints and structural analysis methods.

  • Strong knowledge of strength of materials (hand calculation, analytical methods) approach.

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structure design philosophy.

  • Solid communicator, intermediate level or higher in both written and verbal English.

  • Readiness to work with multi-functional team in a flexible schedule (weekends/holidays support, overtime, shifted work schedule) to meet the business needs.

  • Readiness for business trips – up to 25% of working time.

  • Existing rights to work in Poland.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • Experience in static analysis.

  • Knowledge of finite element method approach.
