Boeing Commercial Airlines has an exciting opportunity for highly talented and motivated Methods Process Analyst (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join our Industrial Engineering department located in Salt Lake City or West Jordan Utah.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate (Level 2), Experienced (Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) Level Methods Process Analysts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes the current and future business environment and develop forecast, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.

  • Develops and maintains Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.

  • Develops labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards, tool and production design drawing reviews, and Tool and Production Operations concurrence to support program business plans.

  • Monitors performance. Participates in the development of integrated (e.g., crew cycling, learning curve, shift analysis, optimum/maximum crew size, tooling capacity) tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.

  • Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events. Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery. Develops modifications to existing plans and obtains approval for plan changes.

  • Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.

  • Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.

  • Develops and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.

Work Authorization:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or a technical field

  • 1+ years of experience in Data Analytics

  • 1+ years of Continuous Improvement experience

  • 1+ years of experience working directly in a production environment

  • Experience leading projects

  • Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Aurora, MS Project, etc.)   

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics

  • 2+ years of Continuous Improvement experience

  • Experience in a team environment.

  • Team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.

  • Experience with Aurora or other constraint-based scheduling tool

  • Experience with Python / Tableau

  • Shop load experience in a production environment

Typical Education and Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:

  • Associate (Level 2): $62,050 – $83,950

  • Experienced (Level 3): $79,050 – $106,950

  • Senior (Level 4): $93,500 – $126,500
