The Boeing Global Services Government (BGS-G) Supplier Management Team has an opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) position within the organization. The selected candidates will be responsible for leading the Supplier Management teams providing procurement support specific to sites, including San Antonio, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Fort Walton Beach, FL, as well as Services procurement support for BGS-G.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options:  San Antonio, TX; Jacksonville, FL; Fort Walton Beach, FL

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Procurement Agents and Supplier Managers on the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Site Support & Services procurement team, performing activities related to committing company resources to provide supply chain support of the prime proposal process, purchase goods, negotiate strategic agreements and complex terms and conditions, post award delivery management and 3PL management

  • Subset of team is comprised of BGS-G Services procurement Center of Excellence

  • Manage all aspects of the supplier/subcontractor relationship and performance throughout acquisition of the goods, including supplier strategy, proposal development, and negotiation strategy

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes, risk management process and related tools

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement processes is also expected.

  • Hold extensive knowledge of Supplier Management processes and procedures.

  • Direct experience working with a variety of subcontract types under DoD prime contracts

  • Excellent negotiation and problem resolution skills are required.

  • Occasional travel to other Boeing sites, Customer and suppliers (<25%)

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

  • 5+ years of leadership experience (team lead/project manager/manager)

  • Experience with Government contracting and/or procurement contracting

  • Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation.  Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: 110,500 - 149,500.
