Boeing Brazilis seeking Entry-Level Electronic Systems Design, reporting to the Electronic System Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil office.

Entry-Level Electronic Systems Design Engineers will join the Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) team. All projects focus on design, development, and production support of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software.

Successful candidate will work with a worldwide team to implement system hardware and software and aircraft systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and in-service support.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Translation of concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and operational specifications, and the integration of avionics systems and components into our complex airplanes.

  • Component design, development and qualification to applicable aerospace standards.

  • System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification.

  • Supporting in development of System Safety Analysis.

  • Verification of system designs to meet operational and functional requirements.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have a degree in Engineering.

  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Knowledge within Electronic Systems hardware and software design.

  • Knowledge with Model Based Development tools.

  • Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.

  • Knowledge of FAA Regulations.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with leaders and coworkers in an engineering environment.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
