The Boeing Company’s, Customer Support & Fleet Chief Office (multiple models) is currently seeking a Mid-level orSenior Project Management Specialist to join their team in Seal Beach, CA.

This position will focus on supporting The Fleet Chief Office.

The 777 Fleet Chief Office is looking for a Project Integration Manager to work in a highly dynamic environment requiring cross functional/cross business unit coordination and collaboration to fulfill the listed primary responsibilities below. This role will support the Deputy Fleet Chief, Sr. Deputy Fleet Chief and Fleet Chief in leading and executing on fleet priorities, provide viable solutions and ensuring safe and economic operation of the 777 fleet. The position may require some travel to integrate with program leaders, customers, suppliers and other organizations. This is a Non-Union represented position.

An Ideal candidate will be highly motivated and forward thinking, possess technical/project management acumen and have the desire and leadership ability to adapt quickly and operate in a changing environment. Able to jump out of your comfort zone, use out of the box thinking and techniques to meeting customer needs in a timely manner. Strong verbal and written communication skills with project management and integration experience.

This is a critical role and will ensure clear definition and execution of the primary responsibilities listed below. A candidate in this position will act as a spokesperson for the Fleet Chief Office to oversee and execute these tasks and bring back critical decisions/discussion and recommendations to the Fleet Chief and Sr. Deputy Fleet Chief. This role would require proactive communication internally and with customers along with inspiring the team by championing forward-thinking and innovative solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)
  • Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives
  • Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements
  • Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan
  • Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans
  • Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management
  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation
  • Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans
  • Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • MS Degree or higher
  • Experience with managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal.
  • Experience with BORIS, Tableau, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project and/or other.
  • Project Management tools.
  • Experience using Program Management Best Practices in your work.
  • Good understanding of industrial plans.
  • Demonstrates qualities including flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and works well under.
  • pressure, systems thinking, organizational skills, curiosity, follow-through and attention to.
  • Evaluate current BCA/BGS stocking plan at Boeing locations and make adjustments.
  • Ability to develop spares plan (quantity & location).

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-level- Level 3

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior- level 4

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: Level 3 $93,500 – $126,500

Summary pay range: Level 4 $115,600 – $156,400
