Boeing Test & Evaluation is looking for anEnvironmental Control Technicianto join ourteam inSeattle, WA.Technicians in this job receive, inspect, kit, dispense, deliver and maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an information resource on hazardous materials through maintaining a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations

  • Provide proper waste disposal and processing of hazardous waste materials

  • Respond to environmental hazard spills, working closely with Boeing and outside agencies emergency response units

This position is expected to be 100% onsiteThe selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required“U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials

  • Currently possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience executing data entry, retrieval and inventory management

  • High school diploma or GED

Relocation: 

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Union: 

This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinists (IAM-751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
