Boeing Global Services is currently looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to join their team in the Puget Sounds. Position is located in Seattle, WA.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leading change, inspiring others, and challenging the status quo.  In this role, you will be driving improvements across BGS Supplier Quality and supporting the BGS-C Statement of Work. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to transform the work we do for the better, develop our teams, and integrate across organizations and the enterprise. The selected candidate will be Leading and mentoring a team of employees performing a variety of quality functions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))

  • 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Able to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders

  • Previous APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) experience

  • Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to manage, develop and motivate employees.

  • Self-starter who creates and implements job-related solutions and procedures.

  • Proficient in Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM), Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), and Systematic Problem Solving.

  • Strong Quality Management Systems/Business Acumen; Adaptability, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Customer Focus, Managing Conflict, Building Positive Relationship, Ethical Leadership.

  • Demonstrated skills in Team Building, Systematic Problem Solving and Risk Mitigation.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $119,000-$161,000
