Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Operations Specialist at Boeing Japan KK (BJKK) in Tokyo.

Join us as a member of BGES team in Japan, one of Boeing’s top international markets. BJKK’s business activities include: sales and services for commercial airplanes and defense products, heavy industries supply chain management, advanced technology R&D, and airplane structure delivery operations.

You will have opportunities to learn and grow as your statement of work and Boeing’s global matrix organization provide engagement opportunities with colleagues in Japan, East Asia (i.e., China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan), and other countries. You will have regular visibility among BJKK leaders and business partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for project management/engagement general affairs, office operations, and safety compliance. In addition, you will support and serve as a right hand to the BGES Japan manager.

The Business Operations Specialist reports directly to the BGES Japan manager in Tokyo.

Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead/Support project together with other functional partners
  • Identify the opportunities for Kaizen/process improvement, plan and execute.
  • Plan and perform general affairs, facilities management and safety compliance at the Tokyo and support Nagoya offices, as well as Boeing Japan sites. Ensure safe, secure, and compliant operations.
  • Coach BGES staff in Tokyo and Nagoya on best practices
  • Anticipate and respond to enterprise service needs of BJKK business partners.
  • Support regular reporting process for regional leader.
  • Perform other deliverables and projects as requested by the BGES manager.

The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at BJKK’s Tokyo office (with some flex allowed at the BGES manager’s discretion).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have had a continuous or combined break in employment lasting at least 12 months.
  • Experience in a Western multinational company in an English-speaking environment.
  • Basic understanding of Japanese government regulatory requirements, including tax and banking requirements, and processes that impact business operations in Japan.
  • Native-level written and oral communication skills in Japanese, and business level

              written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's Degree or above

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum 5 years or more relevant experience, including project management or project engagement.
  • Experience in Japan general affairs and office operations support.
  • Critical thinking and business acumen.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

主な業務内容:

下記が基本となりますが、場合によって下記以外が含まれる可能性もございます。

  • 他部門のパートナーと共にプロジェクトリードもしくはサポート
  • サービスプロセスにおける改善点の発見、解決に向けての計画・実行
  • 東京オフィスにおける施設管理、総務、設備管理、コンプライアンスの計画、実行。コンプライアンスに遵守した運用の確保。名古屋オフィス、及び日本全国に渡るボーイングサイトのサポート
  • オフィス移転、新規開設時の企画~運営全般のサポート。(東京・名古屋オフィス双方において施設管理に関わる運営のメンバーへのナレッジ共有、指導育成)
  • 社内でのサービス提供の需要予測と柔軟な対応。
  • 月次レポートの作成サポート及びリード
  • マネージャーからの指示による上記以外のプロジェクトのサポート

採用後はボーイング・ジャパンの東京オフィスにて勤務していただきます(一部フレックス有)。

求められるスキル(必須スキル・経験):

  • 12ヵ月以上のキャリアブレイクをお持ちの方
  • 英語を使用する多国籍企業でのご経験。
  • 税制・銀行手続き等日本国内の各種法制度、日本国内で総務や営業活動に影響する各種手続きに関する基礎知識。
  • ネイティブレベルの日本語(読み書き、会話とも)、ビジネスレベルの英語(読み書き、会話)
  • Microsoft Officeツールを問題なく使用できること(Excel、Word、PowerPoint等)
  • 大卒資格以上

あれば望ましいスキル (望ましいスキル)

  • 5年以上の関連業務ご経験(プロジェクトリード、又はプロジェクトメンバーとして参画経験、オフィス管理、施設管理業務を含む)
  • 日本国内での総務、オフィス運営支援、施設管理の経験。
  • クリティカル・シンキングとビジネス感覚。
