We are continuously growing our Boeing Engineering Center in Poland, building engineering teams to work across all of our commercial products and services. Boeing is looking for Experienced Mechanical-Hydraulics Engineer​ for Poland Engineering Technology Center.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. 

  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. 

  • Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. 

  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. 

  • Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others. 

  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions

  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics or related fields.

  • 4+ years engineering work experience.

  • Knowledge of systems and equipment for landing gear retraction, extension and ground handling including retract/extend systems, wheels, tires, braking and steering design, performance and integration. Tire pressure and brake temperature monitoring systems are also included.

  • Knowledge of technologies and concepts for design and integration of mechanical systems with digital control, monitoring and indication.

  • Knowledge of aerospace, hydraulics, and mechanical fundamental engineering principles.

  • Experience in designing, simulation, testing, analysis, architecture, and integration.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English language. 

  • Existing rights to work in European Union is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Platform systems experience in the design and/or analysis of hydraulics, fuel, landing gear, mechanisms, support equipment.

  • Able to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs.  

  • Understands functional requirements related to developing hydraulic systems.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
